Established in 2010, the Bantambury flock started off with 6 black Australorps. Once we had our girl, Black Pearl, go broody, we gave her 6 eggs. We always knew we wouldn't want any roosters, so we would re-home any that hatched. 21 days later, out came a white Silkie rooster, 2 Easter Egger cross hens, a splash Silkie hen, and last but not least, the boy who changed everything, my Black Tailed White Japanese Bantam rooster named Cadbury. The next thing I knew, I was attached to Cadbury and soon began breeding him, creating amazing and friendly barnyard mixes, who i'm now breeding today. Eventually, we added 2 more coops, and even more birds.
